Rachel L. Hutt, Ph.D.

Dr. Rachel L. Hutt is Co-founder of MindWell NYC and a licensed clinical psychologist. She has specific expertise and interest in helping parents learn strategies and support for managing the needs and challenges for children of all ages. She provides individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. She is Board Certified in DBT through the Linehan Board of Certification (DBT-LBC™).

Jessica A. Renz, Psy.D.

Dr. Jessica A. Renz is Co-founder of MindWell NYC and a licensed clinical psychologist. She provides compassionate individual and group psychotherapy services to teen and adult clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression in addition to challenges with life transitions and stressors. She specializes in helping women learn skills to incorporate resilience and confidence in their daily lives.

Rebecca B. Skolnick, Ph.D.

Dr. Rebecca B. Skolnick is Co-founder of MindWell NYC and a licensed clinical psychologist. She has particular expertise and interest in exposure therapy for phobias, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Dr. Skolnick also specializes in CBT and DBT for eating disorders in women and men. Dr. Skolnick provides individual and group therapy to adolescents, young adults, and adults.


 Arielle Freedberg, Psy.D.

Arielle Freedberg, Psy.D.

Dr. Arielle Freedberg is a licensed clinical psychologist at MindWell NYC. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness and treats individuals experiencing a range of challenges including depression, generalized and social anxiety, difficulties regulating emotions, disordered eating behavior, and difficulties managing life transitions. In addition, Dr. Freedberg treats perinatal mood difficulties (before, during, and after pregnancy), fertility challenges, identity conflict in general and as it relates to sexual orientation, values clarification, chronic health problems, and relationship and interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Freedberg is an LGBT affirmative psychologist.

Monica Ierardo, Ph.D.

Dr. Monica Ierardo is a post-doctoral fellow at MindWell NYC. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for adolescents, young adults, and adults with a range of issues such as mood disorders, trauma, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also has experience with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and has provided individual and group therapy using this modality. She provides individual and group therapy at MindWell NYC.
