Rachel L. Hutt, Ph.D.

 

Dr. Rachel L. Hutt is Co-founder of MindWell NYC and a licensed clinical psychologist. She specializes in providing individual and group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Parent Coaching for a range of difficulties across the lifespan. Prior to MindWell NYC, Dr. Hutt was the Director of Parenting Services and the Young Adult Program at CBT/DBT Associates. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, where she did training in outpatient clinics, schools, and medical settings. She received her B.S. from Cornell University in Human Development, graduating with honors. Dr. Hutt provides individual CBT, individual and group DBT, individual and group parent coaching, and group MBCT at MindWell NYC.


 Jessica A. Renz, Psy.D.

Dr. Jessica A. Renz is Co-founder of MindWell NYC and a licensed clinical psychologist. She provides psychotherapy services to college students experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression as well as challenges transitioning to the college environment. She also treats adolescents and young adults with difficulty regulating their emotions using Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Prior to founding MindWell NYC, Dr. Renz worked as Coordinator of Postdoctoral Training at Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants where she provided mentoring and supervision to postdoctoral fellows. She earned her M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University-Post, M.A. from New York University in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Psychology from University of Florida. She provides individual and group therapy at MindWell NYC.

 


 

Dr. Rebecca B. Skolnick is Co-founder of MindWell NYC and a licensed clinical psychologist. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for adolescents, young adults, and adults with a range of issues such as generalized anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and borderline personality disorder. Prior to MindWell NYC, Dr. Skolnick served as a staff psychologist and Director of the Eating Disorders Program at CBT/DBT Associates in New York City. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University, M.A. in Psychology in education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and B.Sc. from Tufts University. Dr. Skolnick provides individual and group therapy at MindWell NYC.

 Arielle Freedberg, Psy.D.

Arielle Freedberg, Psy.D.

Dr. Arielle Freedberg is a Clinical Psychologist licensed in New York State and Connecticut, working in private practice in Greenwich, CT as well as in New York City. Dr. Freedberg specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, and treats individuals struggling with life transitions and challenges such as: perinatal mood difficulties (before, during, and after pregnancy), fertility challenges, identity conflict in general and as it relates to sexual orientation, values clarification, chronic health problems, and relationship and interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Freedberg is an LGBT affirmative psychologist.
